There are a wide variety of soft drinks available on the market today, and many are marketed towards adults. Those who don’t want to drink alcohol are no longer limited to just water or a few different sugar-filled brands but now have a wealth of different options to choose from.

But now there’s another soft drink entering the market, and it has a secret ingredient—mushrooms.

What is Zooz?

Zooz is sugar-free, gluten-free, and free from artificial additives. It’s categorized as a mushroom-based food supplement but is said to be comparable to Italian bitters with a deeper depth of flavors.

The key ingredients of Zooz are lion’s mane and cordyceps mushrooms, metabolism-boosting green coffee beans, and ginseng. The ingredients are sustainably sourced, and even the cans were chosen for their high recyclability.

It is low in calories, with only 26.25 per 250ml serving, and is designed to be versatile for a variety of drinking occasions. The drink is also said to boost mental clarity, improve athletic performance, sharpen focus, and provide sustained energy.

Why was it created?

The drink was developed by Daniel Soos, a former personal trainer. Zooz aims to redefine adult soft beverages with a focus on well-being. Its taste is aimed at those who are looking for healthy alternatives to alcoholic drinks.

The idea came from a visit to the supermarket, and Soos even quit his job in order to develop the product.

“Zooz is not just another soft drink; it’s a new benchmark in the non-alcoholic beverages category,” he said. “This has been a labour of love, and I’m excited to see how it will resonate with consumers.”
